Dismounted Raincoats - At long last the dream has become a reality!  I won't bore you with the details of the nightmare to get this thing done, but suffice it to say it was worth the effort.  This is a beautiful re-creation of the WW1 Dismounted Raincoat.  Issued to all members of the AEF for wet weather wear once it was discovered that the gas mask could not be easily worn with the poncho.  Our reproduction is made from treated khaki cotton material and is patterned off an original coat.  All seams are patched and glued as per the original.  All the hard wear including the buckles, the cuff snaps, and the sunburst buttons have been painstakingly reproduced.  This item has been a long time coming for the WW1 re-enactor and I'm sure you will be extremely pleased with it. Available in size XXL and XXL Long.

jerkin.jpg (25401 bytes)

Leather Jerkin - An idea borrowed from the British issue Jerkin.  In the AEF the Jerkin was issued to soldiers whose duties would make the wear of the Overcoat impractical.  As such they were issued to drivers, messengers, tankers, and machine gunners.  Ours is made from 100% real leather and lined with great coat wool.

Expected availability -November 2003
